Secondary and High School Programs in Canada
We are located between three of Canada's most important cities- Ottawa, Montreal and Toronto. UCDSB has 20 secondary schools and 65 elementary schools, all offering a full academic program. We also offer full-time English as a Second Language (ESL) support, short term academic programs and customized group programs. UCDSB does partner with a local boarding school and has an International Baccalaureate program in Brockville. UCDSB works with Canada Homestay International to provide an excellent host family program with dedicated homestay coordinators available 24/7.
The Langley International Student Program is guided by our vision of "Transforming Students to Global Citizens". For over 25 years, we have accepted and placed students from all over the world in our elementary, middle and secondary schools. Langley is centrally located in British Columbia only 45 minutes from Vancouver. Students choose Langley because we offer a flexible program which we can customize to meet any individual requests and goals. We arrange our own Homestay placements to ensure the comfort and safety of our international students. Most of our students come to our program to graduate from high school and transition to university. In each of our high schools we have an ISP Teacher Coordinator who has time each day to provide academic support, help with course selection, provide guidance regarding post secondary application and help students become involved in their schools.
The CBE is a large urban school district located in the city of Calgary. Programs are customized to the needs of the student in order to meet their post-secondary goals. Each school has an international student coordinator to support the learning needs. The CBE boasts top scores in international PISA tests. We are proud to welcome international students from around the world. With more than 200 schools, serving over 100,000 students, we offer a wide range of academic courses and specialized services, including ESL programming for all levels. Our goal is to ensure our students have a valuable academic and cultural experience and we work hard to ensure the school placement matches each student’s interests and abilities.
The Vancouver public school district gives students from outside Canada the opportunity to study together with local students in the beautiful city of Vancouver, Canada. In Vancouver schools, the academic year is linear, and begins in early September and ends in late June. All public schools in Vancouver are co-educational and no uniforms are required. Vancouver schools offer excellent support for international students, including a detailed orientation, advisors and counsellors for international students and homestay orientation and ongoing support. There are district field trips including Victoria, Grouse Mountain, Capilano park, and activities includie a local univiersities and colleges fair, and a Hallowe'en event at an exhibition park. Vancouver secondary schools offer exciting elective courses including art, music, strings, drama, theatre production, robotics, fashion design, dance, film studies, photography, French, Spanish, Japanese and Mandarin Chinese and many others. School activities include ski clubs, sports, outdoor education, astronomy and community service. Students may enroll in a wide variety of excellent academic, fine arts, language and computer studies programs. Homestay accommodation is offered through our partner, Langara College homestay. Local host families welcome international students, and students travel to school by local bus with discounted student passes. Elementary student applications are accepted from parents who will live with their child in Vancouver.
We offer an international student program to students who wish to come to Québec Canada, to study in English while experiencing the everyday life in French. We have students attending our High Schools either to have a cultural experience or to Graduate. All of our schools have an English or a French immersion program, some have specialties such as IB or Sports/Atrs/TAG/Technology Studies.We welcome students in our Elementary Schools for Short Stay visits. We offer different programs in Vocational Studies , stuedents can obtain a study/work visa during their studies. We have a language school that has more than 400 students attending during the year and offer opportunities to attend summer camp and Spring Break camp as well for groups of students. We offer the services of a Student Services Officer who give service 24/7 to the students and placed them in our own host families. We offer guradianship.

Courtenay, British Columbia
Our friendly, welcoming community enjoys the warm temperate climate of BC’s West Coast. We offer all modern amenities for medical and dental care, shopping, theatres, and a multitude of community sports programs. There is easy access to Vancouver and Victoria, including a 30 minute flight from the Comox Valley International Airport to Vancouver. Visiting students and their families enjoy outstanding recreational activities including world class skiing and snowboarding on Mt. Washington, golfing, water sports, mountain biking and hiking. It takes only 30 minutes to be skiing and 10 minutes to be at the ocean, lakes and rivers.
The Nova Scotia International Student Program offers high school education to students (age 8-18) around the world. Single semester and/or full year programs are available in all seven regional school boards. An ESL camp is offered in July and August. International students come here to improve their English, earn high school credits and immerse themselves in Canadian and Nova Scotian culture. Students are matched with local families. Each student is made to feel a part of their family and is included in all celebrations, outings and activities. Students' studies and experiences prepare them to enter a Canadian or American university and succeed in the program of their choice. Courses are taught under the careful supervision of certified teachers. Students can choose from any number of extracurricular activities. Athletic pursuits include soccer, track and field, skiing, volleyball, and badminton. There are drama and music programs, student government, art and yearbook clubs.
